The LORD’s Anointed - 2 Samuel 1-2:7
Today we continue on with the study of God’s People in the Old Testament. King Saul—the people’s choice for king—is dead. David is next in line to be king. And the question is: what kind of king will David be? In his character and actions, David points to the type of king we long for, the kind of king we need. He points to Jesus – the LORD’s Anointed king.
